Doctor Time is a comedy action short film where a whacky superhero adventure unfolds as a teenager discovers his true powers! This much anticipated locally made film will premiere at a mini film festival of short films celebrating youth and diversity.
The festival is a collaboration from Upside Down Arts, Bus Stop Films and All One Under The Sun to bring a collection of short films championing inclusion and smashing stereotypes to Bellingen’s own big screen. The films and songs share stories of friendship, challenging expectations and school encounters with some cabaret, Kung Fu, dancing and superhero action just for fun.. come along for the ride with Doctor Time.
Many of the films feature persons with a disability, with a focus on Down syndrome. All funds raised from sale of tickets will go to Celebrate T21, an advocacy and support organisation “changing the narrative” for persons with Down syndrome.

Audience advice: Films best suit an older child and young teen audience however everyone will enjoy the stories and fun. Two of the films present as PG with a few insults and a theatrical fight scene. One film has a moderate emotional scene that resolves happily.
